Dorit Chrysler made her musical debut at age 7 at the Opera Graz in Austria, and founded her first music project at age 13. After studying music science in Vienna, Dorit relocated to New York. Composing, producing and performing soundtracks, electronic pop & experimental music, Dorit Chrysler is best known for her Theremin Style. She has performed at Lincoln Center, Vienna Konzerthaus, Sibelius Academy Helsinki, The Moderna Museet Stockholm, The World Fair in Japan, CBGB, the Tesla Museum in Belgrade and some of Europe and Canada’s biggest festivals.

Dorit’s performance was broadcast live to 350 million radio listeners in Europe on Art’s Birthday January 17, 2008 as a representing for “pop music of the future”. She is the cofounder of the NY Theremin Society and has co produced and participated in the historic 10 piece Theremin Orchestra performance at LA’s Symphony’ Disney Hall Los Angeles.

Her music scores in films by artist Jesper Just are present in permanent collections at museums worldwide, including the Guggenheim in NY. Her compositions are part of permanent installations at the Cultural Ministry in Paris. She has released 3 critically acclaimed solo albums and has collaborated with Elliott Sharp, Cluster, TheThe, Foetus and Gordon Raphael, the producer of the Strokes.
