Image Randy George is a music maker to the core, specializing in the art and architecture of dynamic musical human computer interaction. He is a thereminist, multimedia innovator and music technology ninja.

Randy grew up a classical musician in Dallas, TX. He earned a Bachelor of Music from The University of North Texas where his focus was bassoon. After playing bassoon for ten years, he learned well the kind of meticulous precision and special patience that instrumental performance requires. In 2004, Randy relocated to Los Angeles to pursue technical, creative endeavors and soon after in 2006 he found himself heading into a quite different universe of music. The pivotal moment occurred the day he discovered the ethereal and mystifying space controlled theremin! From that day forward, there has been no looking back. His love for the instrument knows no bounds.

Although he is just beginning his music career as a thereminist, Randy has already become quite visible in digital form as underground internet meme culture ceaselessly consumes his brain melting video contributions via online video portal, YouTube.com. An internet search for the theremin will almost always yield one of the many videos he has made.

Randy's creative palette has been constantly growing thanks to his super-tight cybernetic relationship to the music recording/performance software, Ableton Live. Keep an eye and an ear out for this artist who has found his musical weapons of choice and is prepared to deliver sounds of old and new genres alike utilizing music technology both as old and as new as it possibly gets.
